About me and my philosophy
What you are not going to find here is a formula for restrictive eating, excessive workouts, and constant weight loss chatter. I believe the “diet mentality” is what causes most people to fail. I also promise I won’t be a nag asking you to do your chores either. But we may dig a little deeper to see why you are not following through on certain things and what is causing the resistance. If you are not happy with your life, your career, your relationships, or even your weight, I am here to help you succeed.
What you will find is learning how to take care of your mind and your body, and the rest, will just fall into place. The results will have a ripple effect. Whether you are unsatisfied with your life, your job, your weight, it all comes down to your mental and physical health.

Education and Special Training
I hold an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts, a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and a Master’s Degree in Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Additionally I am a Certified Life Coach and a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. I received my Life Coach training from The Life Coach School. I was also trained by Evelyn Tribole, M.S., R.D. and Elyse Resch, M.S., R.D., F.A.D.A., C.E.D.R.D., who are known for their groundbreaking book, “Intuitive Eating: A Revolutionary Program That Works.” I have been fortunate enough to be trained by the some of the best in the industry.
I am a proud member of the American Psychological Association, Division 43 (The Society for Family Psychology)
and Division 47 (Exercise and Sport Psychology). I am also a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
When I am not working with clients or studying psychology, I love spending time with my family and my spoiled boxer. She is often referred to as my “fur” child.
Choosing the right coach for you is an important decision. I want you to feel comfortable and confident with your decision if you decide to move forward in working with me.

Contact me to schedule a free 30-45 minute consultation. During this session, we will discuss what you are wanting to achieve in your coaching sessions so I am able to determine how I can best support you in your journey. You will also have an opportunity to ask me any questions. This will give you a better idea of what working with me would look like.

Our sessions will take place over the phone and I will be available between sessions by email, with the exception of holidays and weekends. I have received positive feedback in offering sessions over the phone verses meeting in person. Many people like the convenience of being able to chat in the comfort of their own home or office.
What happens after our initial session?
If you decide you want to move forward and schedule regular 60 minute coaching sessions, the cost is $90 per coaching session. I recommend scheduling 2 to 4 coaching sessions per month, with a 3 month commitment to achieve the most benefit out of our coaching sessions. Please see discounted package rates below.
All coaching sessions are paid for via PayPal prior to our coaching session.
My Personal Story
At one point in my life, I thought I had it all figured out. Married…check! Bought my first house…check! Career…check! Everything was lining up exactly how I wanted it to…well until the housing market took a nose dive and I was laid off. Not exactly what I had envisioned.
Who would have thought this was the best thing that could have ever happened to me?
I was at a point in my life where I felt confused, overwhelmed, and drained. My health was suffering and my career goals were all over the place. This was all just a reflection of what was going on inside my mind.
When your mind is cluttered by fear and doubt, your body is affected. And when you neglect your body, you feel crazed, moody, and unfocused. You can’t seem to get motivated to do anything and you find yourself continually looking for the nearest Starbucks. Sound all too familiar? That was me!
But once I started to work with a life coach, I realized that it was possible to get my mental sanity back and create a life that I loved. Now I am passionate about helping others get healthy both inside and out and reclaim their emotional and physical wellbeing. It isn’t an overnight process, but I am here to encourage and empower you to make these changes. The end results are so worth it!
